![]() ![]() Off screen, I opened the same document in my phone and I am dictating to my phone using speech to text. In this video, I opened a Google Doc on my computer and did a screen capture. It isn’t perfect, but seems to work as well as Windows 7 Speech to Text… maybe better. ![]() I can fire up the Google Docs app for Android and voila… start dictating my script. I am often away from my computer, but have time between appointments. Then, I was reminded that I take notes into Google Docs using my Android’s speech to text feature. I’ve tried some of the speech to text plug-ins for Chrome but they were not very effective. I’ve used speech to text with Windows 7 in Microsoft Word and it works pretty well.īut most of my scripts are collaborative and my team and I use Google Docs extensively.
